Firmly rooted in the northern C\u00f4tes-du-Rh\u00f4ne, the Guigal group has invested in the prestigious AOC Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape, where it was until now active solely in a n\u00e9gociant capacity. The WINE Objectives agency assisted the Guigal group in the ultra-confidential negotiations for Domaine de Nalys.<\/strong><\/p>\n Covering fifty hectares in the Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape appellation, the Domaine de Nalys has been purchased in its entirety by the Guigal group from Groupama Insurance, who have owned the property ever since they acquired it from the Duffays family in 1975. Having until now been active in the southern C\u00f4tes-du-Rh\u00f4ne in a n\u00e9gociant capacity, this major investment marks the arrival of Guigal as wine producers. \u201cGuigal has been creating and selecting wines in Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape since 1946.
