{"id":3651,"date":"2015-09-30T13:06:00","date_gmt":"2015-09-30T13:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wineobjectives.com\/badet-clement-rachete-le-domaine-la-metarie-dalon-limoux\/"},"modified":"2025-06-17T08:53:46","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T08:53:46","slug":"badet-clement-acquires-metarie-dalon-vineyards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wineobjectives.com\/en\/actualites-en\/badet-clement-acquires-metarie-dalon-vineyards\/","title":{"rendered":"BADET-CLEMENT ACQUIRES METARIE D\u2019ALON VINEYARDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Burgundian n\u00e9gociant has announced the acquisition of M\u00e9tarie d\u2019Alon Vineyards found South of Carcassonne in the Languedoc.<\/p>\n<p>The vineyard previously belonged to Jean Louis Denois who planted the Domaine de L\u2019Aigle vineyards which are now part of the portfolio of the G\u00e9rard Bertrand Group.<\/p>\n<p>These are the first vines which Badet-Cl\u00e9ment has actually acquired. \u201cWe have been looking to buy a vineyard for several years in order to produce premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.\u201d states Laurent Delaunay, CEO of the Badet-Cl\u00e9ment Group.<\/p>\n<p>These vines will be used to produce the premium wines for Abbotts &amp; Delaunay, their Languedoc subsidiary which specialises in premium wines from the region.
