Ch\u00e2teau de Roquefort and its 30 hectares of vineyards in the C\u00f4tes-de-Provence appellation have been bought by C\u00e9dric Menet, a member of the fourth generation of the Mulliez family.<\/p>\n
Located at the foot of the Sainte-Baume massif, in Roquefort-la-B\u00e9doule, \u201cthis family estate covers a total of 300 contiguous hectares and is located near Cassis, just a few kilometres from the coast\u201d, Adam Dakin, who accompanied this transaction via his agency Wine Objectives, tells V&S News.<\/p>\n
Ch\u00e2teau de Roquefort, owned by the de Villeneuve Flayosc family since 1812, has been managed for 25 years by Raimond de Villeneuve. The vineyard has been organic since 2006 and is farmed biodynamically.<\/p>\n
