Côtes du Rhône : Alain Jaume acquires Domaine de la Grangette Saint Joseph

The Alain Jaume firm, whose headquarters are based in Orange in the Vaucluse, has recently acquired the sixty hectares previously belonging to the Domaine de la Grangette Saint Joseph in the Côte du Rhône appellation. The sale also includes the winery buildings established at Jonquières in the Vaucluse which will continue to be used for the vinification and bottling of the wines. Alain Jaume is already the owner of three other Domaines in the Vacqueyras appellation (Domaine Mazane), in Châteauneuf du Pape (Domaine Grand Veneur) and in Lirac (Clos de Sixte). This acquisition takes the total area owned by Alain Jaume in the southern Côtes du Rhône to over 200 hectares.
